Borgo della Merluzza

Borgo della Merluzza is located in the heart of the countryside, twenty minutes from Rome. It is an ancient village surrounded by greenery that takes its name from the young blackbird trapped in the tower of the estate from which uded to sing on full moon nights. The village is also mentioned by Gioacchino Belli because it was an ancient post office located on the Via Cassia and well known in the Middle Ages for the tavern called Tor Merluzza.
